First grand prix of the season is scheduled on the weekend of 23 March to 25 March 2018 in Melbourne, Australia. The coverage begins on friday starting with the first two practice sessions followed by Saturday’s qualifying round. The big race takes place on Sunday, 25 March 2018.

Formula 1 2018 season begins with the traditional curtain raiser Grand Prix in Melbourne, Australia on the weekend of 23-25 March 2018. With 21 races scheduled for 2018 season, it will be played through 25 March to 25 November 2018 finishing with the last grand prix of the season in Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina circuit. There are two pre-season testing scheduled on 26 February-01 March and 6 March – 09 March 2018 at the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona. He also set the record for fastest lap time in over a decade in Barcelona at 1:19.024.
